read a reply to the irs lawsuit by your founder from a response claiming you were a political organization and thus not entitled to tax exempt status. your explanation WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! succinct, reasoned and sophisticated. you stated as I could not everything I have been thinking and feeling for years! Bravo for Lori Marcus and her intellect. Bravo for the cleverness of suing the IRS on this point.

I'll be sending in my check. RabbiJ would be disappointed if I didn't.

I was at the lecture you gave at HIR tonite and I found it fascinating. I was the woman that asked you the first question. Your idea is great! When I was in college at F.I.T. I wrote a paper for a communications class on the black and white cartoons that the Germans published in the 5 year period before Hitler came to power. My point of the paper was that the Nazis had to dehumanize the Jews before they could mount their offensive. I had to go to the main public library special sections back in the days (no internet in the 70's) to get German books.
When you were speaking I was thinking of that long-ago paper - I got an A+ on it.
