07.16.12 Hard to say if I'm just out of it, super-sensitive, or anachronistic: I thought the vicious Walt and Meirsheimer book titled "The Israel Lobby" turned that term into something one doesn't use when trying not to appear anti-Israel. But today I noticed it showed up in an article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Then I noticed the article was from the AP wire service, and the same phrase showed up in dozens of places in which that article appeared, including the Washington Post, Fox News, YNet, MSNBC, CBSNews, and hundreds of smaller outlets which typically depend on the wire services for most of their foreign news. This article is a spin off from one that appeared in yesterday's Times of Israel that did not use the term "Israel lobby," but ridiculously portrayed those who signed the letter to Netanyahu telling him to reject the ("the 'settlements' are NOT illegal) Levy Report were amongst right-wing Jewish American leadership. Not.
