  • Chaya Gross  - Duplicate conference all over the world. Israel to
    BH
Day 3 of the counting of the omer.
    Critical question!
Excellent idea. What about trying to have these conferences worldwide on the same day? The impact would be much more powerful.
Time is short and work great but we Jews have a way of getting things done when the will is there. What do you think? I would be happy to do the Israel conference.

    Let me know.
    Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach,
    Chaya Gross

  • Marla Kramer  - I'm in Colorado!!
I guess an event has to be held somewhere, and I guess Washington, DC makes sense, but I can't come in for this, and certainly not in the middle of the week - when will we get to hear what was said and how it went?

And consider having events off the coasts at some point, please!

But thanks for what you are doing, I appreciate it despite my (minor) complaints.

    MaK
  • Bob  - Why these speakers?
Why do you have a bunch of speakers who support the two-state solution?

Does Z Street support the 2-state solution if certain conditions are met?
  • esther epstein  - cspan broadcast
Have you arranged for Cspan to cover this?
Please send details if so......that can be a way to spread this quickly ...it sure is necessary.
  • esther epstein  - cspan

I hope you can get Cspan to carry this conference so that more people can be reached.
  • Lori Lowenthal Marcus  - Media Coverage
This is a message to all those who want to attend the conference but cannot because they are not in the Washington, D.C. area. We have alerted the media (repeatedly), but you just never know when they will show up. Z STREET is paying a professional videographer/photographer to cover the event and we will make at least portions of it available through our website as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to this event and hoping it will have a serious impact on the public discussion about how to handle the conflict in the Middle East.

    Chazak Achshav,
    Lori
  • Lori Lowenthal Marcus  - Bob - what are you talking about?
    Hi Bob,

I don't know where you get your information, but if you carefully read the material about this conference and about Z STREET you will have the answers to your questions.

    All best,
    Chazak Achshav,
    Lori
  • Carl  - Islam and Rethinking the End Game
I hope that Nonie Darwish will not be the only participant to talk about the crucial role of the doctrines of Islam in the conflict over Israel. After all, this is NOT a "Palestinian-Israeli" conflict as so many people are wont to call it. Nor is it an "Arab-Israeli" conflict, as it used to be called. In fact, we are dealing with an Islamic war on the Jews, and nothing less than that. The entire Moslem world refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, and the best evidence for this is The Islamic Republic of Iran, which is Israel's deadliest enemy and NOT Arab! Based on Allah in the Koran, Muslims are commanded to make war on the evil Jews and to subjugate them. Muhammad said to kill them. And, that is in the Hamas Charter which is directed specifically against Jews, not just Israelis. So, if the crux of the issue is the refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, we have to face the bitter truth that NO Moslem leader can give ...
