Fuhgedabout rules, go to the UN

10/17/10 Things aren't going completely your way? The other side insists that it be allowed to continue breathing? No problem, just go to the UN where, if you are Arab Palestinians, you have reason to believe your story will reach sympathetic ears. Abbas and Fayyad are now seeking pan-Arab blessings to take all their toys away from the negotiating table and bring them to the UN Security Council.

The hope is that the UNSC will recognize an official state of Palestine without all that bothersome negotiating that has stymied their dreams. So, if the PalArabs do that, will the US use its veto power to stop such a travesty? Are you sure? How can we make sure?

I would have to say by what changes are taking place within the command center of this country, I don't think the US would veto such a resolution. I have seen the weak leadership with this administration, but, also, some horrible things that I consider dangerous for this country and dangerous for our friends, such as Israel.
